**Ranchi:** There is good news for passengers travelling by train from Jharkhand to Delhi and nearby areas. Keeping in mind the increasing number of passengers, the Railways has decided to extend the operational period of the **Ranchi–Anand Vihar Terminal Special Train**. The special train will now continue to operate until September 2026.
The decision will benefit passengers not only in Ranchi but also those travelling from several cities along the route. The train will be particularly useful for passengers travelling from Jharkhand towards Delhi-NCR.
## Special Train Service to Continue Till September
The **02877 Ranchi–Anand Vihar Terminal Special Train** will now operate every Saturday until **September 26, 2026**. The train will depart from Ranchi at **5:40 PM** and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at **6:00 PM the following day**.
For the return journey, the **02878 Anand Vihar Terminal–Ranchi Special Train** will operate every Sunday. The service will continue until **September 27, 2026**. The train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at **7:30 PM** and reach Ranchi at **6:35 PM the next day**.
## Which Stations Will the Train Stop At?
The special train between Ranchi and Anand Vihar will pass through several important stations. Major stops include **Ranchi, Lohardaga, Tori, Latehar, Daltonganj, Garhwa Road Junction, Mohammadganj, Japla, Nabinagar Road, Dehri-on-Sone, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Chunar Junction, Mirzapur, Subedarganj, Govindpuri, Tundla Junction, Ghaziabad and Anand Vihar Terminal**.
