**<a href="/category/bhandara" class="text-brand font-semibold hover:underline">Bhandara</a>, Kardha :** In view of **Eid-e-Milad, Gokulashtami, Pola, Ganeshotsav**, and various other religious festivals scheduled to be celebrated in the coming days, a police route march was conducted in **Mauja Kardha** under the jurisdiction of Kardha Police Station on **August 25, 2026**.
The route march was organized with the objective of maintaining **peace, public safety, and law and order** in the area during the upcoming festive season. The initiative was also aimed at creating a sense of security among citizens and conveying that the police administration is fully prepared to deal with any situation and ensure that all festivals are celebrated peacefully.
The route march was conducted from **11:00 AM to 11:40 AM** in the Kardha Police Station area. A total of **2 police officers and 47 police personnel** participated in the march. This included **2 officers and 20 police personnel from Kardha Police Station**, along with **27 personnel from the RCP (Reserve/riot control) platoon**.
The route march began from **Prakash High School, Kardha**, and proceeded through several important locations, including **Machhi Market, Kardha Chowk, Kardha Main Road, and Sambhaji Chowk, Kardha**. The presence of a large police contingent along the main routes served as a visible security measure ahead of the upcoming religious celebrations.
During the route march, citizens were urged to cooperate with the police administration and help maintain peace and harmony in the area. Residents were also advised to avoid believing or spreading rumours and to refrain from sharing unverified information on social media that could potentially create tension or disturb communal harmony.
With several important religious festivals approaching, the police administration has been taking necessary preventive measures to ensure that celebrations take place in a peaceful and orderly manner. Citizens have been requested to celebrate all festivals responsibly, respect law and order, and cooperate with the police and other administrative authorities.
