**New Delhi:** Delhi Police has not yet registered a regular FIR against the minor girl accused of allegedly making objectionable remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a protest. According to police sources, the Zero FIR received from Noida Police is still under legal examination, and no decision has been taken on converting it into a regular FIR.
Sources said the girl's claim of being a minor is one of the key factors under consideration. Authorities are currently verifying her age and examining all relevant facts before deciding the next course of action. Since the case has not yet been converted into a regular FIR in Delhi, there is no question of withdrawing it at this stage.
### Zero FIR Filed in Noida
The matter originated with a Zero FIR registered on **July 29** at the **Expressway Police Station in Noida** in connection with a protest held on **July 23**. The complaint alleged that objectionable slogans and remarks were raised against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the demonstration, allegedly lowering the dignity of a constitutional office.
Based on the complaint, Noida Police registered the case under **Sections 352, 353(1), and 356(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)** before forwarding the Zero FIR to Delhi Police for further investigation.
### Legal Process Still Underway
Delhi Police sources said the legal process remains ongoing and that investigators are carefully reviewing the available evidence along with the girl's age-related documents. Officials maintained that any further legal action will be taken only after all procedural requirements have been completed.
### PM Modi Appeals for Guidance Instead of Punishment
The development comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the issue in a video message posted on Instagram on Friday. Referring to the slogans raised against him and his late mother during the protest, the Prime Minister said the remarks were deeply hurtful. However, he added that young people should be given an opportunity to learn from their mistakes and should be guided rather than punished.
### Minor Issues Public Apology
Following the Prime Minister's remarks, the girl released a public apology, stating that she is only **15 years old**. She said she had been influenced by others present during the protest and regretted raising the slogans. She expressed remorse for her actions and sought forgiveness.
### Mother Expresses Gratitude
The girl's mother welcomed the Prime Minister's response, saying her daughter had been given a chance to correct her mistake. She thanked PM Modi for choosing compassion over retaliation and noted that his message was released on her daughter's birthday, making it a memorable moment for the family.
The investigation is currently being carried out by Delhi Police, which will decide the future course of the case after completing the verification process and legal scrutiny.
