Bhandara News: The district administration in Bhandara has decided to bear the future education expenses of a three-and-a-half-year-old minor girl who was allegedly sexually assaulted. Guardian Minister and Maharashtra Minister of State for Home, Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar, assured the victim’s family that the government would provide all possible support for her education, healthcare and future.
Guardian Minister Meets Survivor’s Family
Eight days after the incident, Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar visited Bhandara and met the survivor and her family. During the meeting, he spoke with the family and assured them that the administration would stand by them during the difficult period.
The minister said that the child’s health would remain a priority and that there would be no shortage of medical facilities. He also directed officials to ensure that doctors and nursing staff provide regular medical care and health check-ups as required.
District Administration to Bear Education Expenses
A major decision announced during the visit was related to the child’s education. Dr. Bhoyar said that the district administration would take responsibility for the expenses related to her future education as a humanitarian measure.
The initiative is aimed at ensuring that the incident does not affect the child’s educational opportunities or long-term future. District Collector Sawan Kumar also gave a positive response to the proposal and assured that the administration would provide the necessary support.

During his visit, Dr. Bhoyar held discussions with District Collector Sawan Kumar and Additional Superintendent of Police Nilesh More.
He sought information about the current status of the investigation, the action taken so far and the further steps planned by the police and administration. The minister emphasized the need for proper coordination among the concerned departments while dealing with the sensitive case.
Officials were also directed to ensure that the survivor continues to receive appropriate medical attention and necessary administrative assistance.
Government Push for Fast-Track Court
Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar said that the government would make every possible effort to have the case heard through a fast-track court. The aim is to ensure that the judicial process moves forward as quickly as possible.
He further stated that efforts would be made to secure the strictest punishment permissible under the law for the accused if found guilty.
